The school is committed to translational studies and to better serve society. For instance, our Judicial Appraisal Institute, a well-known national and provincial training base of forensic appraisal personnel, carries out forensic examination on over 8000 cases every year. Over 100 patents have been granted by the national patent office. Both Sericulture Research Institute and Fisheries Research Institute collaborate extensively with local companies and provide technical service.
